Sandwich Survey

Reuban SandwichThis survey came to me after I completed by blog about the how much I like the Europa Grinder.  This is my favorite sandwich at Cafe Europa but I am sure everyone has a favourite sandwich from somewhere.  I also have found that the same sandwich is called different names in different parts of the US and Canada.  I sourced the different sandwich types from The History of Sandwich page from the InMammasKitchen.com site.  I did edit the list to take out sandwiches I have never eaten or heard of so use the Other category if one of the missing sandwiches is your favourite.  So don’t just pick your favourite sandwich – Pick your Top 3.  Use the Comments section to tell where you get your favourite sandwiches.

[…] Favourite Sandwich- Hamburger is the winner, Hot Dog is second and a tie with Panini, Reuben and Cheesesteak.  The blog has been getting lots of views on our Memorial Day Burger Search and the Best of Bucks Co – Burger so it makes sense it’s the number one sandwich. […]

I don’t know why.  I practically married my wife because her Grilled Cheese sandwiches were so good. LOL

I choose the Philly Cheesesteak, a Hot Dog and my Other is a Pork Roll Sandwhich. How could you forget the Pork Roll Sandwich!?

    • peterjustason Says:

Thanks Chrissy, Pork Roll is pretty obvious in the Philly area now that I think about it. I will add it to the next version of survey. Thanks for the comment.

I said a submarine – nothing like an italian hoagie!! But you had some many great choices!!

Thanks Geri, I love that depending upon where you go, you can have a sub, hoagie, grinder or torpedo and it’s basically the same thing. The same but all good. Thanks for the comment.
